Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the eastern side of Booth Street, Camperdown between the points 0 metres and 18.2 metres north of Alexandra Drive as "No Parking Council Vehicles Excepted 6am-6pm Tues and Fri".

Advice

The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation and noted that the City received two responses opposing the proposal and one response supporting the proposal.  The opposing submissions were concerned about the loss of unrestricted parking.

Background

The City's waste services team has requested consideration of "No Parking Council Vehicles Excepted 6am-6pm Tues and Fri" in Booth Street, Camperdown to improve access and safety for waste vehicles during collection days.
