Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the western side of Macleay Street, Potts Point between the points 65.6 metres and 84.2 metres (three car spaces), as "Loading Zone 6-9am Mon-Fri", "1/4P Free Parking 9am-10pm" and "1P Ticket 9am-10pm Permit Holders Excepted Area 19".

Background

As part of DA/2023/312, the applicant is requesting consideration for an on-street loading zone in Macleay Street to service the proposed liquor store located in 81 Macleay Street. The applicant has advised that the business cannot be service from its existing loading dock due to building constraints.
