Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the southern side of Womerah Avenue, Darlinghurst between the points 25 metres and 27 metres west of Womerah Lane as: "No Stopping".

Background

There have been numerous reported instances of illegal parking, where drivers overhang the existing "No Stopping" area and obstruct the adjacent driveway. In response to this ongoing issue, it is proposed to extend the "No Stopping" zone to discourage vehicles from overhanging the driveway and to make the restriction easier to enforce.
