Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following traffic treatments in Sydney:

(A)      Installation of a continuous footpath treatment in York Lane, just north of Erskine Street; and

(B)      Installation of a continuous footpath treatment in York Lane, just south of Erskine Street.

Background

The City of Sydney proposes to introduce two continuous footpath treatment in York Lane at its intersection with Erskine Street to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility, slow vehicles speeds and enhance the streetscape.
