Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the following reallocation of parking on the eastern side of Pitt Street, Sydney north of Bridge Street:

(A)      Between the points 29.4 metre and 39 metre (two car spaces) as "No Stopping"; and

(B)      Between the points 48.5 metre and 57.4 metre (one car space) as "4P Mobility Parking".

Background

The City has received requests to consider extending the "No Stopping" restriction in Pitt Street, north of Bridge Street to:

·                Improve safety for trucks turning from Dalley Street to Pitt Street; and

·                Increase queuing area for vehicles turning left from Pitt Street to Bridge Street.
