Advice

The Committee unanimously supported the recommendation.

Background

The City has received requests to improve safety for pedestrians crossing at the intersection of Crewe Place and Rothschild Avenue. Therefore, it is proposed to replace the existing at-grade pedestrian crossing in Rothschild Avenue with a raised pedestrian crossing and install a new raised pedestrian crossing in Crewe Place to enhance pedestrian priority, facilitating safer pedestrian links at the Crewe Place and Rothschild Avenue intersection and reduce vehicle speeds.
