Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the southern side of Hatbox Place, Waterloo between the points 2.6 metres and 14.4 metres (two car spaces) west of Mystic Lane as "2P 8am-8pm".

Background

In 2014, the City approved a development and creation of Wulaba Park which included sections of 2P parking and “No Stopping” restrictions in Hatbox Place, west of Mystic Lane.

The City was recently made aware that a section of parking in Hatbox Place was incorrectly installed according to the approved plan, and was left unsignposted. As such, the City will consider introducing "2P 8am-8pm" restrictions to clarify the parking restrictions.
