Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the allocation of parking on the southern side of Lawson Square, Redfern between the points 21.2 metres and 29.4 metres east of Gibbons Street as "4P Mobility Parking Only".

Background

Residents of Lawson Square, Redfern have requested the consideration of reallocating a redundant mail zone in their street. Australia Post has advised the mail zone is no longer required.

The current parking space is designed to actively address barriers faced by people with disability. Therefore, the City is proposing to install an additional "4P Mobility Parking Only" in Lawson Square.
