Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the eastern side of Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills between the points 8 metres and 29.9 metres (three car spaces) south of Belvoir Street, as "Bus Zone".

Background

Transport for NSW have requested the extension of an existing Bus Zone in Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills to improve bus operations.

The extension of the Bus Zone is required to facilitate longer buses used for the M20 and M50 bus routes.
