Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the northern side of Danks Street, Waterloo, west of South Dowling Street as follows:

(A)      Between the points 26 metres and 39.7 metres (two car spaces), as "P10 Minutes 8am-8pm", and

(B)      Between the points 39.7 metres and 45.7 metres (one car space) as "Taxi Zone", and

(C)      Between the points 45.7 metres and 57.2 metres (two car spaces) as "No Parking; Authorised Vehicles Excepted Zone GG".

Background

Meriton Suites has requested a change to the parking restrictions near the hotel entrance at 30 Danks Street, Waterloo to better service their drop-off and pick-up needs.
