Recommendation

It is recommended that the Committee endorse the reallocation of parking on the eastern side of Gowrie Street, Newtown, between the points 25.7 metres and 41.3 metres (2 car spaces) south of Newman Lane, as "Disability Parking Only".

Background

Two residents of Gowrie Street, Newtown, have requested a disability parking space each, in the street. Both residents have advised that they are not in a wheelchair but cannot physically walk far.
