Moved by Councillor Chung, seconded by the Chair (the Lord Mayor) -
It is resolved that:
(A) Council note that following the implementation of new technology for the Council's business papers, complaints have been received from residents in the City of Sydney indicating that the current format of the Council and Committee decisions are difficult to navigate and the individual decisions of the councillors are unclear making decision making opaque; and
(B) the Chief Executive Officer be requested to:
(i) take immediate action to ensure that all decisions of Council meetings, committee meetings and constituted panels record the names of persons who voted in favour of a motion and those who voted against (or are deemed to have voted against) a motion in the individual decisions published on the City's website; and
(ii) work with the vendor to enhance the appearance of the business papers on the City's website.
