Purpose

The Corporate, Finance, Properties and Tenders Committee deals with all matters relating to:

·             consideration of budgets and quarterly budget performance

·             information technology policy

·             asset management

·             internal and external audits

·             fees and charges

·             rating matters

·             council vehicles and fleet management

·             industrial relations

·             organisational policy issues, such as industrial agreements

·             property management, including management, maintenance, leasing, licensing and sale of Council property

·             tenders valued at over $5 million

·             grants and sponsorships

·             economic development and strategy

·             global city relationships, trade and marketing

·             innovation

·             village economies

·             small business

·             city retailing

·             operational and promotional issues relating to restaurants and hotels

·             tourism
